Beginner Atmega328 Shield Design (EDIT)

Hi all,

I am a novice at this and was wondering after some time of searching around and buying a shield that most closely fits my needs (shown below) if anybody has a PCB .lay or other design or schematic that shows a basic design shield for the Atmega328 like the one shown in the photo.

This is what I have bought and that closely fits my needs.

If anyone could give me guidance on how to design a shield that closely follows the 5V, 16mHz, Arduino Pro Mini, small compact design but in DIP form I would be very grateful. I have tried to trace the traces on the above board but they are to small and the board is to dark to follow.

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance with this.

EDIT

I have found that is board uploads via AVR. I only have a FTDI and was wondering if there was a work-around to where I could use my FTDI to upload an Ardunio sketch to it?

-Thanks

Go look at ModernDevice’s RBBB.

I believe he posts the schematic in his docs, and you can purchase JUST the pcbs from him if you want to mod a build. I bought like 10 of these, they are super easy to build and use, program using the FTDI. And they are reasonably priced.

Thank you motopic, just what I was looking for.
