ATmega 328 programming.

Hi! I have bought an atmega 328 with uno bootloader and also a shifter board kit. My question is how i can connect them to put sketchs with arduino IDE.I have use this site(http://www.jameco.com/Jameco/workshop/J … rcuit.html) to put atmega on a breaboard but is there any way to use the shifter board(https://www.sparkfun.com/products/133) to run codes on atmega?

Uhmmmmmmmm…what? Huh???

2 ants, a fartscicle, blue, and yugglesmaf.

You mean to upload sketches? If so, I wouldn’t buy that. The easier way is to use this, https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9716

Note - no matter how you look at it, you are going to need more components on the breadboard to program the ATmega chip.

ok thanks! But what compoments i will need? And also how i can connect the ftdi board to atmega 328

Google has all the answers you seek.

Buy one of these and get on with it

SFE sells some but not all options in PJRC’s products

Some of these are mega32 USB built-in; some are newer/better ARM Cortex M3 with gobs of memory/flash and a simpler single address space. Both have the Arduino libraries, even the ARM board.
