Beginner Books for Ardino

Hi,

My son and I want to learn how to get started with using Arduino programming and loading the program onto the shield. We bult a robot last year for a competition using parts from Sparkfun and RC controlled servos.

We have used the Lego Mind Storm program and know we can get the Arduino Visual programming software but we need some help in getting it set up.

Can anyone let me know some good beginner books and where to look on this forum for tips on how to get started?

I have read many Arduino books. Most were pretty good, but the best was Arduino Cookbook by Michael Margolis, published by O’Reilly.
