Bend Labs Digital Flex Sensor - 1-Axis direct hook up to arduino UNO

Hello All

I want to hook up the Bend Labs Digital Flex Sensor - 1-Axis to my Arduino, but based on it has two pins, nRST and nDRDY, and I do not know which pin of Arduino Uno are these? and how can I hook it up directly to an Arduino UNO

Can anyone help me with the wiring it?

Thanks

Hi mollaee.saeed,

We have a bunch of documentation for using this sensor linked in the “Documents” tab on the product page. I will link those here for easy reference:

  • - [[Flex Sensor Datasheet](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/f/9/2/1/5/one_axis_datasheet.pdf)
  • - [[Flex Sensor Pinout](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/9/f/8/2/d/Bendlabs_Single_Axis_Flex_Sensor_Pinout.png)
  • - [[bendlabs GitHub Repository](https://github.com/bendlabs/one_axis_ads)
  • - [[SparkFun Arduino Library](https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_Displacement_Sensor_Arduino_Library)
  • [/list]

Also, remember this flex sensor has a max input of 3.6V so you will want to level shift the signals when connecting it to a 5V Arduino Uno. You can get away with connecting the I2C pins directly to the Uno so long as no 5V devices are on the same bus.](GitHub - sparkfun/SparkFun_Displacement_Sensor_Arduino_Library: An Arduino library to interface to the angular displacement sensor (flex) from Bend Labs.)](GitHub - bendlabs/one_axis_ads)](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/9/f/8/2/d/Bendlabs_Single_Axis_Flex_Sensor_Pinout.png)](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/f/9/2/1/5/one_axis_datasheet.pdf)](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/5/e/b/7/0/one_axis_quick_start_guide_2019.pdf)
