Best sparkfun enclosed product for basic surveying on a site that already has an RTK correction service subscription?

I am a golf course superintendent looking to conduct basic survey work on our property. Specifically, marking irrigation heads, valves, underground utilities, etc. I currently use ArcGis Pro and WebODM to create maps using RTK drone imagery. Most of our current GPS data was collected with a Trimble unit by contractors. We also use RTK on our sprayers which receive corrections from HPRTK network. I believe that I can use a cell based tablet in conjunction with SW maps and one of the spark fun units to gather data ourselves using our current HPRTK subscription for corrections. The goal is to be able to collect data ourselves and then combine with data collected by others in ArcGis Pro and/or export the data to contractors. Given our situation - can anyone provide any recommendations on which specific Sparkfun units we should look into?

I’m just a customer, but I’ll be glad to share my opinions of the “finished” (not DIY) RTN products, in order of price:

Facet - It’s hard to deny the value. Uses the U-blox F9P which is solid with mature firmware. No L5 band.

Facet Mosaic - Has the ability for the highest accuracy, given the mosaic-X5 chip + the antenna

Torch - Great form-factor and weatherproof. The UM980 chip can fall-back to HAS corrections when needed.

All 3 of these devices should function great, using the NTRIP Client inside SW Maps for your HPRTK correction source.

You might want to test & refine your proposed workflow to export your SW Maps data and bring into Arc smoothly.

Thank you for the information. Just curious - would the RTK surveyor be an option as well? So many options…..

Totally agree on testing and refining workflow. I have not used SW Maps before. I am also looking into the some of the ARC applications…. Mostly I am trying to keep the data collection as simple as possible and then refine the maps with ArcGis on my desktop.

Yes, you could think of the RTK Surveyor Kit as being similar to the Facet (both are F9P’s), but with an “older” formfactor.
