BLE Switching

Would be curious to know if there is a way to use BLE between my phone and a “very small Leonardo or similar” sized board to control a switch (9V battery power range) to another device. Specifically, I’m looking to turn on/off altimeters and pyro charges after a high power rocket is assembled and on the launch pad (for safety) as mechanical things are usually the cause of failure due to high G-forces.

The simplest method might be something like this:

BLE micro controller https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15663

Highly-configurable power shield https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14155 (9v should work here)

Then just follow the hookup guides when you get your products to learn their use and you should be @ the moon in no time
