I’ve got Blue SMiRF and a Bluetooth dongle with XTND connect manager. When I tried the software, It did discover the device and I tried to open up Hyperterminal. The software told me an Application(Hyperterminal) was trying to invoke Bluetooth com port and which device I’d like to connect to. The hyperterminal settings were 9600/8/n/1, no flow control.I selected Blue SMiRF. Ideally, I should be asked PIN at this step. I wasn’t. I typed AT. I didn’t get a reply. Is there something wrong with dongle or with procedure? After sometime, It failed to even detect the Blue SMiRF. I’m confident I was giving it nothing more than 4.9V. Can anybody tell me why did these two things happened?
