BlueSMiRF v2 Command Mode

I have one of these and am trying to get it in AT Command Mode. I have it connected to a USB to Serial TTL cable with the TX and RX pins crossed. I have tried every combination of communication settings and several terminal programs to be able to enter this mode. I’ve been unsuccessful. If while connected, I factory reset the module, I will see text on in the terminal program saying that it is being reset. However when I try to enter AT Mode with $$$, nada. Almost like the transmit pin is not working. For reference, my cable is an FT232 5V cable.

Anyone got ideas?

Maybe measure the TX pin and see if it is in fact pushing voltage

Also, command mode is un-enterable after 60secs from boot/power-on…so make sure you get it sent quick
