Bluetooth - Parts / Board Selection

I am thinking about getting one of these to control a small Arduino robot - Processor is a UNO

But when I look here I get very confused as to what to use, I want a Bluetooth receiver to mount on my robot to be able to take over control in case it goes wandering

We’re not sure if the 8BitDo Lite Bluetooth Gamepad uses classic Bluetooth or BLE, but you’re going to need something like the [Bluetooth Mate Silver if the game pad works with classic Bluetooth or a BLE compatible Bluetooth module. Sadly we do not currently carry a BLE module but you might be able to write software for a BLE capable micro controller to use that as a modem.](SparkFun Bluetooth Mate Silver - WRL-12576 - SparkFun Electronics)
