My Edge has been waiting for a serial basic board which just arrived, after trying to figure out why GRN and BLK were not on the schematic I discovered the Serial Basic has GRN and BLK which I guess means something to someone at Sparkfun. I finally got the serial basic plugged into the Edge and after checking the power jumper I plugged the USB cable in and got a com port listed on my PC, doesn’t do anything but it’s there. I decided to plug the Jlink in (I ADD Jlink CONNECTORS to all my boards and yes it is a PIA) but I can not determine where pin one is on the Jlink.
The Serial Basic and Edge devices have been put away for now, perhaps some day in the future connector and pin markings can be discussed as to how much easier life is without having to hunt down connection information, but who am I but a customer with nothing better to do…
