Unable to program Sparkfun Edge board Com Port not found

On Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS. I am able to successfully do hardware test for CH340C https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/sp … dware-test.

I see the device listed

I am trying to get the Ambiq SDK example to work. Following instructions as described in https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/us … plications

I am unable to upload the built accelerometer example. I selected port 0 and I keep getting Com Port not found - Did you select the right one?. Please help. Commad Line output:

I had the same issue with ubuntu. I was unable to find a solution to the problem. If possible, you can use a windows system, it is not my favourite OS but at least it worked.
