Board to board connectors

I want to be able to connect two PCBs to each other with some kind of solid connection that has 70 pins but is still small. I saw this connector on the inside of an LCD and it looks like if I could get two of these with 35 or more pins on each it would be perfect for my project. I looked on Mouser and Digikey for a while but couldn’t find it.

Can anyone identify this connector or suggest another way to do this?

check out samtec.com. They have a TON of specialty connectors like that.

Looks like Hirose DF9 series.

Also available in 41 and 51 pin versions.

If you look at other Hirose (and other manufacturers too) board to board connectors you can probably find some that will provide more pins in smaller size if that is important to you.

Thanks Henri, that’s perfect!

Samtec may be useful in the future, thanks for that link too.
