I’ve been trying to get the bootloader (which as I understand it, is shipped with the MSP430F1232) to work with the BSLDEMO.EXE program that TI offers with the slaa096 application note. According to the LSA, and later to an oscilloscope hooked directly to the com port pins, BSLDEMO just pulls RST/NMI and TEST low, which it should be transmitting the Start Bootloader sequence.
My questions are: Is there a problem with running bsldemo.exe in XP? Has anyone else here succeeded in getting the bootloader running?
