breakout 3.3V_EN ?

I’m a big fan of the MicroMod platform. Would it make sense to have a breakout pin for the EN signal of the voltage regulator? I want to control the voltage regulator with an on/off switch and controller circuit, which will be connected to the pin on the processor (3.3V_EN). My suggestion is:

  • add a breakout pin for EN signal (voltage regulator enable pin)

  • add a breakout pin for 3.3V_EN (processor board pin)

In other words, convert the “Voltage Regulator Enable/VE” jumper to a two pin breakout.

Is there any other way to make this work with the current layout?

You’re welcome to create an issue on the GitHub repository for the MicroMod product you’d like to see improved, though please keep in mind that hardware revisions can occur very infrequently, if ever, for some products.
