I know sparkfun already sells the SCP1000 absolute pressure sensor with a breakout board. But Bosch Sensortec has a less expensive digital sensor that also uses the I2C connection.
The BMP085 http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea … -1005-1-ND is less expensive and has similar output resolution. It also looks a bit sturdier. I’d have ordered one already but my soldering skills are not up to SMD precision.
How about it Sparkfun, any chance you will sell these sensors with a breakout board?
