Buck-Boost Converter - Resistor to output 6.5v 1.5amp?

I am new (noob! :? ) to electronics and am thinking of using the Buck-Boost Converter to output 6.5v 1.5amp, using a 12v 2.5amp input.

what resistor will I need?

Hi there!

There is a formula in the [hookup guide to calculate the resistor value you nee in kilo ohms. It’s:

68.1 * (Vout / 0.8 - 1)

Just plug 6.5 into Vout and that will give the resistor value you need.](Buck-Boost Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn)
