Hello people.
I am looking to build a joystick that has reasonable sensitivity and does not have to use many mechanical and electronics components (axes and pot’s), so I thought about using a motion sensor that would be installed at the bottom of the stick and thus would have the information that would be sent to the PC running the flight simulation software.
In my research I reached you, where I selected a material that would possibly meet my needs.
The material is as follows:
SparkFun VR IMU Breakout - BNO080 (Qwiic)
SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Arduino
SparkFun RedBoard Qwiic
The question I ask is whether this configuration would suit my needs. If they have a possible different solution, what would it be?
The software I’m using is Condor 2, which simulates glider flight.
I thank you in advance for your collaboration.
