I want to attach a one-wire temperature sensor to my Odroid Xu4 and was told by the engineers that I need a level shifter. They recommended SparkFun for the device but I do not know what that device is.
Will the BOB-12009 handle bidirectional 1.8vdc to/from 3.3vdc?
The temp sensor is the popular DS18S20.
Yeah I could create a circuit for this but if what I need is in this module then the price is right and will save me some effort.

Did you end up getting the BOB-12009 to work? From reading the product description, I can’t see why it shouldn’t work for you if you use all 3 pins of the ds18b20.
The BOB-12009 level converter is just as efficient at stepping up as at stepping down the supply voltage as needed. And it also works with 1.8 and 2.8V devices!
BOB-12009 logic level converter is a small device that safely steps down 5V signals to 3.3V AND steps up 3.3V to 5V at the same time. This level converter also works with 2.8V and 1.8V devices.
