can you people help me? i’m a student working on my project. My project is Monitoring System Via SMS. Buy the way, I completed some peripherals of my project but except this main problem, on how to communicate my system, microcontroller (ATmega16) to a mobile phone thru SMS, it is very simple yet i would take me a 2 weeks to configure it and hoping i must completed before the submission.
i used the MAX232 to communicate my system and my pc for GUI purposes but can i used MAX232 to communicate my system to a mobile phone?
please help me and send me some detail answer or even information about mobile interfacing.
What you speak of here is the PHY or wire link part of the interface. The data link and network layers are the part that is proprietary and makes this kind of project almost intractable.
You can do this with an OEM embedded GPRS telemetry modem.
