Canada

Hello,

I am planning on making a project which requires a PCB. I am from Canada and I was wondering if Spark Fun can ship to Canada?

Also, how does payment work? Do I pay with credit card or what?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Alex Roman

I’m also from Canada and had no problems getting a PCB (or any other Spark Fun product) shipped to Canada. Use your credit card as you would for any other online store, the credit card company will convert US$ to CAN$ for you on your bill automatically.

Thank you very much for the reply

Can’t wait to finish my project’s schematic!

I have had 3 custom PCB boards delivered to Calgary. You can plan on at least 5 - 7 days additional delay at Canada Post. They will examine your parcel, and depending on the cost and any other components, they may assess duties (typically they don’t if there is only PCBs in the shipment; but if anything has a country of origin that is non-NAFTA, then duties would apply).

Also, try to get your order to SFE on Wed or Thursday; the worst day to submit your order is Saturday or Sunday, because then it sits until the following Friday before consolidation with the rest of the week’s orders.

Update: Here’s how a previous order went:

Sat 2005-May-21 Order placed at SFE; would have been better to order on Wed

Thu 2005-May-26 DRC passed; “expect delivery in 10 to 18 days”

Tue 2005-Jun-07 Shipped; postmark in Boulder, CO

Wed 2005-Jun-15 Order arrived; in Calgary, AB, Canada

Total elapsed time 25 days.
