Hi Folks,
I have recently bought ARM-USB-TINY-H and STM32-LCD dev board from olimex. I’m trying to setup a development environment on my 64-bit ubuntu machine. I’ve hit a wall in the very first step of trying to get the “ARM-USB-TINY-H” detected/enumerated.
NOTE: I am able to get the same jtag dongle to work with a 32-bit ubuntu 11.10 machine.
I have tried installing various usb drivers/libs (libusb-0.1-4 libusb-1.0-0 libftdi1 libusb-dev libftd2xx) but to no avail.
Before I abandon this effort and move to 32-bit/vmware/windows option, I’d like to know if anyone has successfully made the ARM-USB-TINY-H jtag work with a 64-bit linux os.
I appreciate the time to read this and any suggestions you might make.
cheers,
saturn.
