Cannot set up a Terminal connection to OLA

This should be easy but i cannot get my head arrond itit. Laptop running windows 11. I open Terminal app and it goes straigh into Windows PowerShell
And waiting for a command
PS C:\users\john> how do I establish a serial terminal link to my OLA connected via a USB port.

While powershell can be used, it’s a lot more finnicky than dedicated serial terminals llike CoolTerm or TeraTerm

Okay thankyou ill try installing one of the suggested terminal emulators on my laptop.
