Capacitor Question

I have a general question about capacitors. I am a newbe to this so please bear with me.

If I have a dc +3 volt power supply I’m trying to determine what size capacitor I should use between a 47uf and a 100uf. I understand that the 100uf will should last twice as long as the 47uf, but does that also mean the 47uf will supply twice as much charge to my circuit?

My power/capacitor will be connected to an RF wireless board. Will using the 47uf supply twice the actual power(charge) to the RF and therefore give me a possible longer signal?

Thanks

Capacitors in the 1 - 100 uF size range are generally intended for smoothing the voltage DC power sources (noise reduction), and not for powering devices. You may not even need a capacitor.

What is your power supply and what board(s) are you intending to use?
