I’m looking to use GM862 in a project that is going to be used relatively infrequently except a few days a month at most, when up to maybe 4 to 8 megabytes would be transferred per event. I don’t have any interest in SMS or voice calls - just access to the Internet to make an outbound TCP connection.
What I’d really like to see is a prepaid SIM card that gives maybe 10 to 20 megabytes transfer and doesn’t expire after a month. Then just refill it periodically. I don’t want any monthly contracts at this point.
Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences in this area? What’s the best out there for this type of thing?
