I downloaded the diver. When I try to communicate with the board and in HyperTerminal I type: AT I receive OK, for all other AT-commands I got ERROR as responce?
Any idea what I have wrong?

Do any of the ATI commands give anything, or is AT on its own the only thing that works?
Yes all AT-commands gives this ERROR except AT then I get OK.
I tried the SIM-card in an other module (from Multitech) and that works fine
Also if I tried to change AT#BND=1 I get the ERROR
I’m wondering if you’re actually speaking to the GM862 and not another modem (or emulator).
The SIM card and band setting are not important for testing the module - you should be able to time ATI or AT+CGMR and get a response. ATI should give a return from any modem, which would help confirm what it was.
If the module had failed I wouldn’t expect you to get any response at all, not even an ERROR return
Thanks cabbage, I was not talking to the GM862.
Unplugged a few thing, and now all works OK.
Thanks
