I am currently looking for Compliance Documents for different Sparkfun Developmentboards. I currently cannor find anything on the website and a google search did not help. Additionally I was contacting the customerservice, but no reply so far.
Has anyone experience how I can get certificates like for ROHS, Reach, POP, TSCA, etc.
Help would be much apprechiated!
I don’t believe any of the products sparkfun makes have any official documents. Some of the newer GPS RTK products might but breakout boards and development board almost certainly don’t.
(Compliance/certification require time and money but don’t add much value to a hobby grade product)
Thanks for the answer! It makes sense to save the money for certificates in order to sell the products cheaper. I was assuming that you need to have those documents if you want to sell your products on the european Market.
