Configuring xbee on a mac

Hi all,

I’m getting started with the xbee series 1 and am able to communicate with both radios in my network via a processing sketch on my mac. I’m able to set their addresses, and write back to the radios. However - it seems as tho I will need to configure one as Coordinator and the other as Router, and I’m not finding a simple/easy way to do this on a mac without essentially emulating windows and getting the ports configured properly. Does anyone have any experience doing this successfully, even if it means setting up a windows emulator?

Any help/suggests are very welcome - I’m stuck on this one.

Thanks,

Claudia

Is that because there’s no MAC version of the XCTU utility?

yup - that’s the case.

i was able to run Parallels and get it working - but it’s a hassle and a bit spotty in terms of always finding the serial port.
