I am having trouble using wires to attach my load cell to a HX711 amplifier. My load cell has only three wires and all the photos I can find to create my project require a load cell containing 4 wires. I am also finding a problem with connecting the LCD to the red board. Please answer back ASAP, I am in need of help!
Do you have more details on the load cell you are using? Typically 3-wire load cells are intended to be used as differential pairs with one experiencing compression and the other experiencing tension.

The HX711 is expecting to see a Wheatstone bridge as an input from your load sensor. A Wheatstone bridge will have 4 wires two of which are for power and 2 of which are for sense but our load cells only have 3 wires.
What you need to do is convert the 3 wire load sensor into a 4 wire load cell and there are two ways to do that.
The first and easiest would be to add a second sensor and wire them together to form a full bridge and the second would be to use some resistors to fake a second sensor. The attached images should show how this works.
