Hi,

I bought a Copernicus dip module a couple of months ago and i am trying to put it to work but i get no response.

  1. I verified my rs232a circuit, test it and is communicating properly over the computer.

  2. Cpernicus module was wired as specified in the manual. Even the short and open was wired so antenna status is good.

  3. It is getting exactly 3.3v and 20 mA measured.

Does any one have a clue???

Not sure if these pictures will help, but a long time ago, I breadboarded a Copernicus GPS with an XBee and had no issues like you describe

What rs232 baud and framing are you using? What RS232 level converter are you using?

The pic’s may just confirm your setup. Sounds like you covered it.
