Create Library

Hi

I am using eagle 4.16 for creating my PCB.Now some of the components i use regularly on my board.So i want to export all this components into a common libray.I have tried using exp-project-lbr but it puts all non used footprints also into the library making it big and defeating the purpose of easily finding the device.So can anybody guide how to go about exporing library from libraries provided by eagle.

The easiest way I’ve found is to open the library I want everything in. Then in the main Control Panel screen, the one that lists all of your projects/libraries/etc… if you expand out the library with the components you want, you can right click on the parts and select ‘Copy to Library’.

If there’s an easier way, I’d like to hear it as well.
