I am hoping to create a very thin, minimal moisture sensor with long wire leads to embed in a large roll of paper as it is wound up. The goal is to monitor the moisture level inside the roll over days and weeks from time of manufacture till time of use. The readings could be taken every several hours or daily, need not be continuous.

I have seen similar devices for shipping containers and stuff that have different colors/bars and such to indicate the max relative humidity reached and also some that indicate sustained humidity…if those are options what you are after might already exist
And otherwise we sell boards/sensors that can log the temp/humidity for weeks/months if you’d like to do that instead
