I recently purchased one of the Cyclone II boards, and the compatible programmer. While I have experience working with these FPGAs, I’ve only ever used them preinstalled in development boards; which is to say that I’ve never had to bother with the power circuitry.
Heeding the warning in the product description I read through the datasheet, but I’m quite new to the hardware side of things and am still a little confused.
My question is:
I know that VCCINT must be driven at 1.2v, but how do I determine which of the IO and PLL voltage inputs must also be provided with power?
Any help clarifying things would be greatly appreciated
