Database connection in PCB package?

Hi,

I am thinking of purchasing Pulsonix PSX-009N (1000 pin version) but it has “no Pulsonix Database Connection”

Do you know what “Pulsonix Database Connection” is?

Also there is a yearly “Maintenance” fee of £156.

Do you know what “Maintenance” means , and could i just do without it.?
