Decagon 5TM integration with my own data logger

Hi

we are creating an Arduino Mega based PCB for data acquisition. For soil moisture and temperature, we plan to use Decagon 5TM. I have looked at the data sheet and I just want to confirm that integration on either serial lines or via analog pins would not be much of a hassle. (we don’t have SDI12 lines)

what has been your experience of integrating 5TM with your own data loggers? Anything that I should be aware of?
