I bough my Development Platform for LPC2478 a few months ago. My plan was to develop using the LPC2478. I decided to go with another ARM. so its been doing nothing but sitting on the shelf since i bought it. The ONLY thing i have done to it was power it up to make sure it worked when i got, it then back in the box it went. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get another kit but am strapped for cash. so i am selling it cheap hoping i will sell it quick but not so low people will think somethings wrong with it.

It never fails to amaze me why eBay sellers (and other organisations) do not offer international shipping - it really is not much more difficult than posting something to another state. Let the buyer decide whether or not the shipping costs are worth it. When you live in Australia as I do you accept shipping costs as a fact of life.
I recommend that you just post an eBay message to the seller asking if he will deliver to France - it might just not have occurred to him. I did the same with a UK seller earlier this week and he was happy to do so.
On smaller items it is not even that expensive or slow. One of the reasons I do business with SparkFun is that they offer the option of regular International Post as well as couriers. A couple of items I have purchased have only cost $US 4.50 to post from the USA to Australia and they still arrive in only 4-5 days.
A counter-example is a European company that charges a minimum of 35 Euro per package (almost $US 50) as they only deliver by courier!
Shipping costs are sometimes a way for companies to get extra cash. And you’re right, international shipping is not that expensive. I’ve ordered several times DVD & CD from your country and it’s almost the same price than shipping it from an European country.
The reason why i only ship to USA, is that i have been bit two times by shipping outside USA. after the second time i said never again.
