I’m a wannabe BatchPCB user with a shipping address in the United Kingdom. When I attempt to checkout my order no shipping options are displayed.
Is this a temporary bug that you’re going to fix or a permanent fixture?
If the later please could you put a big message somewhere telling international customers to get lost and that would save me and others from wasting our time with a service we cannot order from.

Exactly. There is no point in cheap service if you have to pay ripoff rates to fedex for service that is no faster than usps!
Try futurlec or goldpheonix directly. Same low cost, same 2-3 week turn.
The thought of waiting for others to join in an order, AND adding SF in the middle is just too aggravating.
The guys at futurlec have never let me down, they never ignore emails, tho shipping is painfully slow(they are manuf in thailand with offices in austrailia).
I’ve had good luck with PCBCART and will likely go back to them next time. Higher tooling costs but lower per-board price and, in my experience, a much quicker turn.
I’d also like to hear an official answer on this as I’ve just experienced the same problem with the website. Another post on the forum states that the website has been broken since early Jan which doesn’t instill confidence that they give a damn.
The whole point of BatchPCB was the low sq in cost compared to other services but if they don’t take international orders any more then I guess we have no choice. I haven’t managed to find any other service that is comparable in price for one off prototypes yet.
Hello all, I sympathize with your complaints and they are no going unheard. Our IT depart is still trying to figure out this bug in our system that will not allow International customers to be able to choose USPS shipping functions. If you are not able to choose a shipping function and there is not one available there is not much we can do at the moment. If you are able to at least choose FedEx, you can choose to keep that shipping method or I can manually switch it to USPS and refund you the difference. I will just need you to email suport@batchpcb.com your invoice so I know who to refund the money back to. Sorry for the inconvenience, I know this is frustrating. If you have any other questions email me at Support@batchpcb.com
I don’t know if it’s relevant to BatchPCB, but another online store I frequent mentioned on their blog that USPS changed their rates and broke their API in early January. That seems to be the time that these complaints started here.
The problem for me at least, in the UK, is that I don’t get any shipping options and therefore can’t check out. I’ve now changed to a different PCB house.
Yeah I emailed BatchPCB 3 times during January time and they replied once saying it’d be fixed soon, here were are in March and they still haven’t fixed it, its pathetic that they can’t get their act together and sort it out!
I created an order on april 24th, and added in the ordering comments to change it manually to USPS (as per instructed on this forum). Just to be sure I also emailed them. Have no yet received a response or a fedex reimbursement. Maybe this happens right before ship?
I’ve just hit the same problem as some other reports on this forum. There are no shipping options displayed at all on the checkout page, so I can’t even submit the order. (I’m international BTW.)
I have been waiting for shipping options so long that I’ve progressed for effects pedals through redesigned ATMega328 board through a synthetic aperture radar system.
Quite frankly not having any shipping options for so long is awful and the fact that this is Sparkfun who run things so smooth they make glass look rough only makes it more shocking.
Please please please fix this as I have four projects now after this not working for so long.
I am a UK residident and have used BatchPCB and SparkFun many times before.
(Sorry for caps, but I’m really getting mad at this, having waited many months…)
Why cant you just hack the code to always add a force USPS option that would stop the ordering process and have somebody look at it (apparently the reason for system complexity is determination of postage cost, so just have somebody look it up and let me continue ordering later)? I think that this somebody would very soon be very interested in fixing the code instead
I used to use your services for all my PCBs, but now I’m seriously looking for alternatives, because I’m not going to risk losing $32 in shipping with FedEx (that I most likely cannot receive!). Somebody said in the other thread that they got shipped with FedEx, even when they asked USPS - so I’m not going to risk it.
USPS Shipping Options for International Customers is back! Sorry for the delays, refunds and confusion. If you have any questions feel free to email us at support@batchpcb.com
