Dial a number and receive a text message with LTE shield

Hello, I have my LTE shield working (CEL-14997) with your examples, but I would like to know how to dial a number, and how to receive a text message (I’ve been following the Arduino Workshop book). I am not sure what commands from the library (SparkFun_LTE_Shield_Arduino_Library) are necessary for these actions.

Is there documentation with the library that shows these commands? Or do I have to look at the source code?

Hi Scott.

Unfortunately we don’t have any example code for either. I’m not entirely sure we have code in the library for receiving SMS messages either.

Thank you for the reply. It is an “old” book, so it is probably more civilized now to receive messages through the Hologram interface.
