Do I need a CAN driver to go with LPC21X9 procs?

Hello,

I’m building out a setup using the LPC2129 chip and i’d like to use the CAN bus for my comm system… one thing that is not clear to me is if I need a second driver chip for the signal. Thus, does anyone know if Need to add a CAN driver chip to the system to make this work?

Yes, yes i do need the driver… I found several…

Atmel: ATA6660

TI: SN65HVD232

And a few others…

Hopefully that may help a few others…
