Does MagmaX2 multi-band antenna support NEO-D9S

Hi guys,

I am considering to buy a SparkFun GNSS Correction Data Receiver - NEO-D9S (Qwiic) board to receive L band satellite Correction data (NOT for GPS receiver).

I don’t like the TOP106 antenna recommended on SparkFun website, it’s too heavy for me. There is another antenna MagmaX2 multi-band antenna which was mentioned on https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/gn … guide/all , but the specification of this antenna doesn’t say it can cover the required L band frequency 1556.29MHz which works for GNSS Correction Data.

So I want to know:

  1. Does MagmaX2 multi-band antenna really support NEO-D9S?

  2. Is there any other option?

Thank you so much.

It says right in the guide that it will work.

You could also use the u-blox or MagmaX2 multi-band antenna for the ZED-F9P and NEO-D9S. However, you would also need the ground plate.

If they say it will work, I’d call that a yes.
