Eagle grid question

Hi all,

A quick question… I want to ability to move in a 0.1mm grid yet view the grid in 1mm. Does this make sense??

If this does stop here and answer please, if not, let me give an example. I want my part to lineup in a 1mm resolution yet I need to move very slightly, say one 0.1mm resolution. Currently, the solution I use is to switch back-and-forth constantly.

Any Eagle gurus, please comment.

If you open the grid popup that is used to change the grid size, you’ll see an “Alt:” field. Set this to 0.1mm, and set the normal “Size:” to 1.0mm. When you are moving a part, press the ALT key and you can move it using the alt grid size.
