Eagle: List of intended use of each layer

Hey, I’ve been trying to find a reference that says what each layer in Eagle is intended to be used for.

Some are obvious, like: “Unrouted” is for airwires, but for many I have no idea of their intended purpose.

I’ve been trying find a complete list using Google, but with no luck. Anyone have such a thing?
