I use Eagle at work on a Windows PC and have a Linux PC at home.
At work Eagle saves in v5.5 and at home of course I can’t open the files.
Is there a way to save the Eagle in a down level?
Also- how can I access the forum? On their website, it directs me to a newsgroup.
In both Windows and Linux, I’ve been totally unsuccessful in signing up. No clue how to do this!
Is there a regular Eagle forum somewhere?

Someone else asked the same question not long ago. There isn’t any way round the problem, you have to upgrade.

It’s not a conventional forum, but a Usenet newsgroup. I just clicked on
news://news.cadsoft.de/eagle.support.eng
MS Outlook Express opened and I could see all the current posts, and do all the usual things I can do in Outlook. It also works with Google Groups.
