What are your thoughts on Eagles recent purchase by CADsoft? Are you looking at a more open-source solution such as KiCAD?
Autodesk bought Cadsoft from Farnell in June. Since they make commercial CAD software, I’m hoping Eagle gets some UI improvements in the future.

Why? So they were bought by someone, why does that mean you should look for alternatives? Companies get bought and sold all the time.
