ESP32-C6 Mini: Load sharing and Zeegbe

Hi!

I’m considering to use SparkFun ESP32-C6 Qwiic Pocket Development Board (DEV-22925) - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/22925

I’ve already found all the needed info and documentation on the SparkFun website (thanks for that!), and have only a few specific questions:

  1. How exactly does the MCP73831 Battery Charger on the chip work? I read a separate documentation for MCP73831, and it was mentioned it has load-sharing functionality (it can automatically switch the load from a battery to an external power and charge the battery simultaneously when an external charger is connected). Does it work in the same way on the SparkFun ESP32-C6 Qwiic Pocket Development Board?

  2. Do you have documentation and examples for using Zeegbe?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

1 - yes

2 - We have this https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ex … with-x-ctu and a few others spinkled throughout the site, search for ‘digi’ and it’ll show products/tutorials/blog posts etc in tabs near the top

Thanks a lot for your answers!

  • I don’t plan to use a separate XBee module. I want to explore opportunities using Zeegbe (a wireless communications protocol designed for low-power, local area wireless mesh networking), which is available on the SparkFun ESP32-C6 Qwiic Pocket Development Board (DEV-22925). So, could you please help me with documentation and examples for this?

Is it Zigbee your asking about? I haven’t heard of “Zeegbe”

Yeah, sorry, Zigbee. Mixed up the name, thanks!
