ESP32 Thing Plus not running a Blink example with a battery

The ESP32 will work while plugged into the USB port, but will not work with just the battery connected. Any suggestions?

Double-check the battery’s voltage and polarity versus the board’s connector

Both + and - pins were not soldered to the ESP32 board. Easy fix!
