Ethernet shield w password-protected router

Hi all,

I’ve just received my ethernet shield from Sparkfun but I can’t get it to work. My modem and router comes in a single package and I have to key in the password manually.

The shield is detected on my McAfee network but not on my router’s network and I’m suspecting its the password problem.

How can I configure the shield to input the password?

Ethernet, not WiFi, right?

Router password is for admin access only.

Your router may have MAC address filtering turned on- usually not.
