I was given a PCB design file from
ExpressPCB-Plus application (it’s a .rrb file). I want to develop the board further but don’t want to be locked to ExpressPCB.com to have the boards fabricated. Being a proprietary file format, only ExpressPCB can use this to make boards.
But I’ve read some work-arounds have been used, such as generating PDF files and sending those to the fab house. I also read that there are scripts that can generate Gerber files from ExpressPCB files or PDFs.
Anyone here know of any of means to get boards from an .rrb file, or convert to other file type, including Gerber?
