eYs3D Stereo Camera (EX8029) - Cannot access to FTP

Hi,

I’ve recently purchased eYs3D camera and I found a paper with login and password to this website: ftp://eys3dftp.eys3d.com/

But whenever I login, it keeps saying that “Your connection to this site is not private”.

Also, when I connect camera and output video stream using python script, it shows only right lens. The left lens is disabled. How do I fix it?

Which browser are you using? Unfortunately, the FTP may not play nicely with certain browsers. This link is maintained by a third party and it’s possible that security protocols of certain browsers have made some issues accessing it.

As for the lenses, you’ll have to dive into the source files if possible. We don’t have those publicly available, unfortunately.

I’m using Google Chrome. It doesn’t work with other browsers, too. Can you provide a working link to a software? Otherwise, if there is no software available, the camera is useless.

Since this is dependent on third party software resources, I do not have those resources. If you need to return your product, I would suggest you should follow our Return Policy ( https://sparkfun.com/returns )

Try to install the driver, it might help,or contact the support service, they should help you.

"Your connection to this site is not private" just means there's no encryption on the FTP server which is perfectly normal for a public server. You just need to find whatever option in your browser allows you to bypass.

(Might look something like “OK” or “Connect anyway?”)

Can you provide a working link to a software?

The FTP site address [u]is[/u] the link. You just need to login with the credentials provided on the paper to download the file. Even if Sparkfun provided a direct link to the file, you'd still have to go through the login process to download it.

I bought this camera as well and have never gotten it to work. Could you send me a copy of the sheet in the box with the ftp info?
