Failed to configure parallel port with OpenOCD

Thanks greatly for creating the GNU tool OpenOCD!

I followed the tutorial on this website to configure my LPC2210

(flashless) board. http://www.yagarto.de/howto/yagarto1/index.html

However, when I tried to configure the wiggler JTAG, which connected the

PC with the LPC2210 board via a parallel port, it failed. It said:"

Info: openocd.c:82 main(): Open On-Chip Debuger (2006-08-17 17:00 CEST)

Debug: jtag.c:1184 jtag_init():

Debug: parport.c372 parport_init(): requesting privileges for parallel

port 0x378…

Error: parport.c:380 parport_init():missing privileges for direct i/o

Could anyone tell me what the problem is? And anyone who is experienced

in configuring a system with external flash, please give me some

tutorials. Thank you very much.

The configuration file is as follows:

#daemon configuration

Hello,

it looks that this is the same question like here:

Here you can find the answer too.
