Hi,

Is it possible to operate the touch IC using the SDK Demo package in the hookup guide? I only have on hand the fingerprint scanner, a Qwiic cable, and an FTDI Basic Breakout - 3.3V. Can I operate the touch IC using only these items? Else, what boards would work with the touch IC? In addition, what interface does the touch IC use?

I don't think the demo SDK is programmed to use the touch sensor.

No the touch sensor is on it's own connector and that doesn't communicate through serial. It looks like a 2 wire interface similar to I2C but I don't think it's actually I2C. Sadly, I've not seen any code for the touch sensor but you would need a microcontroller to read it.
